Five monitors play looping video of rope burns.

Daniel and I bolt a former bull riding champion into a recessed space in the floor by his neck. There is a video camera pointed at him and fed to a live projection on a wall directly outside the space.

A man in the crowd is dressed like a cowboy and wearing an ipod. He starts dancing. He does a striptease and when it’s over, slowly puts his clothes back on and leaves.

I sit in a chair with my head over a metal bucket and Daniel shaves my head.

Daniel sits in the chair while I heat up a metal brand with a torch. I brand an “X” onto Daniel’s back.

We unbolt the bull rider.
